Sold. :)

I wanted to make a pair of deer antlers with a metal finish, making them look rusty and grungy. But then I ended up making them sort of elegant. They are still painted with a bit of patina, but I think all those beads and things make them look more pretty and kind of crown-like. ^^

I have made these by moulding a pair of real deer antlers, then casting them with resin. I have painted them with acrylics, given them a bit of patina and protective coat of varnish.
All those beads are sewn on by hand, took a while I tell ya. The thing in the middle is an old decorative keyhole piece that I found in a second hand shop and have had in a box for several years.
All mounted on a leather base with leather straps that ties around the head.

I will bring these to the two markets I am attending in about two weeks (19-21 sept). The Uma Obscura festival and the historical market at Västerbottens Museum in Umeå.
If they don't get sold there, I will put them up for sale in my Etsy shop, as always. :)

Hope you enjoy :D

very fancy, I like. :)

Beautiful job ! I believe those are called "antlers", not horns...? But they look fantastic nonetheless!

You are indeed right about that, will fix that right now ^^ I get that messed up sometimes because both horns and antlers are called "horn" in Swedish. o.O Thank you! :)
