Another book that I made on commission.
She wanted a Harry Potter inspired notebook.
Its made with leather and the embossed pattern has gold leaf on it (not real gold no

) and is supposed to resemble the golden snitch.

On the leather, I put cutouts in thick paper under the leather.

Love it! It has this old, magical feel to it that would make it fit right in with other Hogwarts books.
The embossed page looks great! How did you do that?

Thanks alot! I took a thicker piece of paper and cut out the pattern/shape, then I lay that on top of the page I wanted to emboss, flipped it over and carefully pushed the paper down into the cutout with a sculpting tool, you can use something like a knitting needle too.
