A mask I made last summer. Pretty happy with this one, I like the colours ^^ And its for sale, so send me a note if youre interested.
Its made with leather, paper and feathers. If I remember it correctly the comb is filled with linen fibres.

I like the eye holes. It takes on a life of its own, even while not being worn.
is there a mythology associated with the rooster? All your works have a storybook feel to it.

I meant in Norwegian & Scandinavian mythology. Theres actualy a rooster legend in Greek Mythology; [link]

Alectryon was ordered by Ares to keep watch while he was fooling around with Aphrodite, except they both fell asleep and another god walked in on them. So he turned him into a rooster in retaliation, and thats why roosters croon at the beginning of each sunrise to warn the gods to wake up, put yur toga on and sneak out the window before anyone comes 'knockin.
